Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist for yearly plan of actions.
  • Prepare self-development and performance review.
  • Assist line manager in operational risk management bylaw annual review by providing the key input to make bylaw up-to-date to reflect the bank’s current business.
  • Work closely with department heads to coordinate in Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise with proper RCSA quarterly report sign off.
  • Provide input to update risk items in RCSA quarterly report to ensure the risk items are up-to-date to reflect the current situation of each department.
  • Highlight the key risk items to line manager with appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.
  • Assist line manager in Key Risk Indicator Establishment and implementation across the bank.
  • Work closely with department head to keep track on setting KRIs with data validation and KRIs Report sign off.
  • Highlight breaching KRIs to line manager with proper corrective and preventive actions and committed timeline of action plan.
  • Be a member of team in incident reporting, follow up, and escalation to line manger as well as to senior management.
  • Assist in incident register in incident database as required.
  • Work with product owner in new product risk assessment and service enhancement.
  • Highlight the key risk items and summarize to line manager with proper controls for each risk item and document sign off from related stakeholders.
  • Work with product owner in existing product review task.
  • Highlight the key risk items and summarize in product review report and escalate to line manager.
  • Prepare and produce operational risk material for monthly risk management committee.
  • Other ad hoc tasks directly assigned by line manager.
  • Test control effectiveness to mitigate risk in RCSA and provide recommendation to improve.
  • Check to ensure all identified risks have sufficient controls to mitigate risk in RCSA.
  • Register the key risk items for ongoing monitoring and follow up.
  • Providing support, education and training to staff in order to build risk awareness and enhance risk culture within the institution.

Requirement Competencies

  • Must have commitment to work in team and have good interpersonal skill.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experiences in Finance and Banking.
  • Possess computer skills and working knowledge in common software applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Good analytical skills and must be objectives-oriented.
