Duties & Responsibilities

  • Propose a standard and effective system architecture and configuration
  • Propose redundant or HA of each services/application and ensure all are available 24/7
  • Install and design services/application clustering to ensure services and other application are running with high-availability to avoid single point of failure from application
  • Manage and solve every issue in under IT System Admin unit.
  • DR Drill Activity
    –  Provide support the DR Drill activity at least once a year by coordinating with DR Drill Committee and related stakeholders
    – Creating DR Drill document & update to reflect existing system functions
  • Backup and Recovery Management
    – Well understanding of backup solution and architecture
    – Ensure backup profiles (both file server and core banking database) are running as schedule such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly.
    – Ensure all data are backup and restorable by conduct the quarterly restore test
    – Fully support any issue or incident occur of backup and restore
    – Define backup and recovery procedure and guideline
  • Log/issue of backup and recovery are fully analysed with effective solution and recorded
  • Clearly understand and working with vendor to get deeply understand of application and services
  • New platform, server and application architecture at follow the infrastructure diagram.
  • Logical and physical application security implementation at is met the business requirement
  • Propose or recommend purchasing software and licensing support business requirement.
  • Perform DR activation drill at least once times per year
  • Improve system availability, stability and automate the manual work for IT administrative & management
  • New project that assign by line manager
  • Weekly and monthly update status of project
  • Self-motivate and tech research to improvement themselves as well as organization
  • Enchantment of hard and soft skill align with IT technology’s roadmap.

Requirement Competencies

  • At least Bachelor degree or equivalent on Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experienced in Microfinance or Banking sector is preferred.
  • At least 2 years working experience in Server and System Administration.
  • Strong experience with system implementation and support of banking application such as CMS, Middleware or ESB, Message Queue (MQ) and central bank application are preferred.
  • Working experience with Linux or Unix System, Container Platform are desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Web Application Server (WAS), Clustering or High Availability (HA), performance optimize and tuning include patch and hardening security is plus.
  • Knowledge of system integration software with central banking or partners.
  • Knowledge and ability to manage energy and power to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
  • Certified LPIC-1, LPIC-2, RHCSA are preferred.
