Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading overall UI standards/patterns effort towards a unified design language.
  • Initiate UX/UI concept to improve current customer experience and make customer memorable with WBC’s mobile banking services.
  • Gather and design UI responded to business requirements, develop user test case, and join system testing on new projects, enhancements or changes on the system.
  • Facilitate cross-department meeting and actions to address user experience and deliver the next better product.
  • Regularly study and analyze the local and international trends on design ideas to come up with the new practical and design concept initiatives.
  • Work closely with other relevant departments and units before starting each UXUI design in any project implementation stage (requirement review, design, testing and collecting feedback.
  • Ensure timely implementation of assigned business projects within timeframe as set.
  • Regularly update line management about the progress and challenges encountered during the implementation of the projects.
  • Report on design trend of products/ services of WBC to line management and other key relevant management.
  • Monitor regularly and report the feedback on Mobile Banking app.
  • Build the self-capacity mainly on channel service, digital product and UX/UI skills for the future development.
  • Coordinate with Training Unit or Marketing to design or revise training curriculum and training materials regarding to channel service and act as one of the key trainers.
  • Continuously build self-capacity and related skills, improve the performance and productivities.
  • Build, coordinate, and maintain critical relationship with key development/ business partners, other MFIs, and stakeholders.
  • Attend the meeting with departments, units, and others to share and discuss on operation issues and others.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by line manager and other relevant managements.
  • Manage subordinators including development plan, monitoring and evaluation to the assigned task as well as the capacity building to perform their job well through continuous on the job training and other method.
  • Provide support to subordinators by facilitating and encouraging them to unlock the issues and challenges.
  • Provide leadership and management behavior and attitudes which exemplify and encourage others to follow WBC’s mission and core values.

Requirement Competencies

  • Must have strong knowledge and capability of written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience with financial domains is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Understanding UI design system.
  • Awareness of adaptive and responsive techniques (preferably hands-on).
  • Proven ability to work hand in hand with development teams to deliver the best design solutions based on technology and timeline constraints.
  • Experienced in mobile application design in financial services, online payments, or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Play a central role in the execution of customer inquiries for a product or experience, helping to conduct sessions, analyze feedback, and identify needs and insights to inform or evolve Bank’s experience.
  • Have an experience in product/business/digital development in MFI/Banking institution.
  • Have an experience in project management in MFI/Banking business.
  • A strong portfolio or work samples showcasing UX prowess, creativity, and depth of thought.
  • Extensive experience designing web and mobile applications.
  • Deliver high fidelity schematics, workflows, interaction storyboards, and design deliverables that guide creative, content, and development efforts.
  • A clean design aesthetic; an aptitude and honed intuition for tasteful designs that are visually engaging
  • A general knowledge of how design impacts engineering and vice versa.
  • Deep experience with broad range of UX design and implementation tools (Figma).
