Duties & Responsibilities
- Identifying and onboarding new corporate merchants & Merchant Partnership included but not limit to partner with providing discount / gas station etc.,
- Support lead generation and follow up on potential merchant opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals and contracts to new merchants.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective merchants and market trends.
- Assist in organizing promotional campaigns to attract new merchants.
- Regularly track progress, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met.
- Provide administrative and operational direction and support to ensuring smooth coordination between various departments and branch offices understand their sales objectives and achieve individual and team target.
- Track and report on sales performance and merchant acquisition metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and reports.
- Maintain and update list of potential customer with accurate information related to merchant contacts, opportunities, and sales stages.
- Support the sales team in troubleshooting and resolving merchant inquiries or concerns.
- Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new merchants by coordinating necessary documentation and ensuring all process requirements are met.
- Provide post-acquisition support to merchants, ensuring they are fully compliance with bank’s systems and processes. Monitor KHQR delivery status , ensure Merchant has smooth payment acceptance.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing merchants, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Regularly check in with merchants to assess their experience and identify opportunities for upselling or additional services.
- Collaborate with various departments including Operations, Call center, and Compliance to ensure smooth execution of merchant onboarding and processes.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to create merchant-specific promotions and sales collateral.
- Support the leadership team with ad-hoc tasks and projects related to merchant acquisition and sales.
- Maintain accurate records of all merchant interactions, sales progress, and acquisition data.
- Prepare regular performance reports for internal teams and management.
- Help track and ensure that sales targets are met within the prescribed time frame.
- Weekly meeting with group Operation Directors and Branch Manager, CAOs for performance discussions.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly report, Require report.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirement Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support, merchant acquisition, or a similar role within banking industry, e-commerce, or payment solutions environment.
- Familiarity with Merchant web portal and sales support software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for slide presentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent knowledge in sales and marketing skills
- Good English language in both Speaking and Writing.
- Ability to travel as needed for merchant meetings or events.
- Experience in merchant services, e-commerce platforms, or sales support.
- Familiarity with marketing or promotional strategies to attract merchants.
